Lake Bled hiking
Bled is certainly one of the best entry points for Triglav National Park. Especially known for its glacier lake with a small island, the castle on a high rock wall, and the delicious original dessert Kremšnita. Bled is not only one of the most beautiful Slovenian tourist pearls but also the starting point for shorter tourist and easier hiking trips. Of course, they are not as demanding as those in Triglav National Park. However, they are very interesting. The most attractive hikes are Rikli ‘s path, Osojnica climb, Gorge Blejski Vintgar, and of course hiking around Lake Bled is the most popular one.

Lake Bled
The hike leads around Lake Bled and it is 6 km long. Basically is more of a walking path. Of course, it’s very popular here to do easy recreation, like walking, running and cycling. The path goes right by the water and it’s perfect for Sunday walks. This path is not only the most popular with foreigners but Slovenian tourists as well.
Rikli ‘s path
is a half-hour round hike that leads you to the top of Straža hill. On the way is a small forest, and over there is a monument of legendary healer Arnold Rikli. In addition, here you can try something different for the descent – summer tobogganing! And in the wintertime, you can even ski from this hill.
Ojstrica and Osojnica
are hills that rise above the west coast of Lake Bled. The first one is just 10 min of hiking and the next one is 20 min more. You have to reach 480 meters up to the top. Over there on the top is a cute bench, where you can take a rest. Of course, once at the top, you receive the most spectacular views over lake Bled and its surroundings.
Gorge Blejski Vintgar
was created by the Radovna River on its way. Today is one of the most popular excursion points in the immediate vicinity of Bled. The Vintgar Gorge is half-mile long and up to 100 meters deep, with walls totally narrowed. You can walk through wooden galleries, just a few meters above the water. It`s an extremely pleasant refreshment, especially in the summer heat.
Babji zob hike
which means women’s tooth, will give you another amazing view over Bled Lake. With a little more effort, you will climb to 1128m, which will give you a totally different perspective over Lake Bled and the incredible mountain scenery of the Karavank ridge in the background. It’s worth a little extra effort.
Debela peč hike
also have a meaning of fat stove. Debela Peč hike is one of the most accessible mountains above 2000m in Slovenia. Debela Peč is famous for its magnificent views of the highest mountains in the Julian Alps, Mount Triglav.
