Logar Valley regional park – Rinka Waterfall – Kamnik Savinja Alps – Mt Okrešelj
Logar valley is one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Slovenia. It amazes you at the moment when you enter it. It is situated in the foothills of Kamnik Savinja Alps. A glacial valley that is 7 km long has so many natural attractions that therefore is protected as a regional park. It offers numerous opportunities for hiking, from easy to difficult ones. Not to be missed is a scenic 80 meters long Rinka waterfall and plenty of other smaller waterfalls. On top of that, you can find some really good restaurants with fresh and local food.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR
Pick up in Ljubljana or Bled and 1,5-hour drive to Logar valley. We will start the tour in the middle of the valley and walk first to picturesque, 80 m long, Rinka waterfall (1h). The first part of the tour is very pleasant, we will walk on a comfortable and wide forest trail. We will have an amazing view of majestic alpine peaks in front of us. After the waterfall, we will start ascending on a steeper and narrower trail through the forest. After 1 hour 15 minutes, we will reach Frischauf Lodge on Mt Okrešelj (1396 m) from where we get a wonderful view over a whole Logar valley. We will have a traditional mountain lunch and then return down to the valley.
