We’ll meet at 8 a.m. at our meeting point in Bled. Then we’ll take a ride to the starting point which is in the village Kupljenk near Bled.
Firstly the road leads us along the edge of the pasture, from where a beautiful view opens up to the highest peaks of the Karavank Mountains, and then after the left bend, where we notice the mountain signposts, it gradually passes into the forest, but it starts to climb steeper. When the path turns right, it flattens out a bit, and then climbs diagonally to the right over increasingly steep slopes.
Further, the path, from which beautiful views of Bled, Bohinjska Bela and the highest peak of the Julian Alps open up to us among the treetops, leads us to the pre-summit.
Soon, we continue straight on, along a path that begins to visibly descend. After a few minutes, the descent ends, and only a short, moderate climb separates us from the viewpoint and Babji Zob registration box.
In addition, you can check our other 1-day hike to Seven Lakes Valley.
* THE GUIDE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST THE PROGRAM REGARDING THE WEATHER CONDITION AND PHYSICAL CONDITION OF THE PARTICIPANTS.
** Are you looking for good accommodation near Triglav National Park or Ljubljana City? Here is something very interesting, halfway to each, a House by the Canyon …
You will definitely need good (ankle high) hiking boots, trekking poles to support your knees, day backpack, a lot of water, some snacks, and a light jacket.
Winter in the Alps is usually longer and snow could fall from November to mid-May. So you can even expect snow till the end of June. But it all depends on how much snow falls and how warm the spring is.
That all depends on the weather forecast. If there is just some light rain we will still go on a tour. However, if it’s gonna be heavy rain, we will try to move your tour to another most convenient date. In either case, we constantly check the weather forecast so we can arrange the best trip for you.
The price is included a local guide for the whole tour, and transfer from the starting point (Bled) and back.
In the tour are not included any meals, personal insurance, personal and climbing equipment.
Meals on our tours are not included, because of the variety of tastes of our participants. Of course, the food is available in any mountain hut and whatever is on the menu is always good.
Hiking equipment, dinner in a mountain hut, transfer from the airport.
